Product Overview
Each component in the marine ignition system is necessary for ignition to happen. The function of the trigger is to determine the correct time for a spark to occur. It revolves on the engine block below the flywheel to modify ignition timing, and the flywheel has magnets that send an impulse to the stator. The trigger movement determines engine timing controls. And the ignition coil is fired by the main switch at the proper time for best performance. There s also a stator underneath the flywheel which gives electrical input to the switch box.
