Product Overview
CRL Wood Hand Rails add a "warmth and texture" that metal hand rails can't duplicate, and are very popular for their natural appearance and feel.
CRL Wood Hand Rails are available in a variety of hardwoods. The standard stock length is 10' (3.05 m), but longer lengths are available on special order and dependent upon the type of wood selected.
In most circumstances wood hand rails must be either 1-1/2" (38 mm) or 2" (51 mm) in diameter to be compliant with local codes. CRL offers both diameters with the option of available matching Dome End Caps.
Our Railing Technical Sales Staff can help you with the selection of the type of wood that will best suit your wood railing project. Delivery is dependent on availability of the wood selected and production time. All Wood Hand Rails are shipped unfinished, ready-to-stain at the job site.
NOTE: Wood cap rails and hand rails are affected by changes in humidity levels, and warping can occur. Rails are shipped in secure packaging to prevent warping and should be left intact until installed. Packaged product should be moved to installation location and allowed to adjust to the humidity prior to unpacking. Wood hand rails and caps are shipped in stock lengths and will need to be cut, sanded and stained by others. Please note that all wood cap rails and hand rails are made to order and cannot be returned. All sales are final. Important Notes: Wood Products are made to order and not refundable or returnable.
