Vinyl Ester wets out fiberglass rapidly and cures evenly in thick or thin laminates. This laminating resin is used for producing corrosion resistant laminates as well as blister resistance from water in the marine, swimming pool, and spa industries. Vinyl Ester can be used in all aspects of the boat building process, from laying up a hull to cosmetic repairs down the road. Since Vinyl Ester resin has increased bond strength, it helps eliminate bonding problems with core materials. Laminates made with Vinyl Ester exhibit excellent mechanical properties and a high heat deflection temperature .
