Product Overview
The Columbus McKinnon (CM) M6407A is an alloy steel rigging hook designed for heavy-duty lifting applications. It features a 5-ton (metric) Working Load Limit (WLL) and a 5:1 design factor. Constructed from quenched and tempered alloy steel, it is dual-rated for use with both Grade 80 and Grade 100 chain slings. The eye-type hook is supplied without a latch, though its tips are pre-drilled to allow for the installation of an optional latch. Each hook body is marked with its load rating, and it is finished with a powder-coated orange for enhanced visibility and corrosion resistance. This rigging hook meets or exceeds ASME B30.10, ASME B30.26, and OSHA 1910 standards for rigging hardware.
