The CRL Conversion Collet allows you to use 3/8" (10 mm) straight shank diamond drills in production type drill machines, such as the AMZ1. This tool is indispensable to glaziers who want to use their existing straight shank drills in drilling machines with a Belgian mount chuck. Conversion Collet For Straight Shank Drills.


It holds straight shank diamond drills in it's jaws, and your drilling machine's threaded chuck applies the needed pressure to hold it in place. Hand made from stainless steel to exact specifications. A quality tool for pennies on the dollar, compared to replacing all of your straight shank drills.NOTE: The AMZ1 Drill needs to be received at our Los Angeles Headquarters (at the customer’s expense) before any replacement parts will be distributed. CRL Manufacturing will evaluate the drill at no charge to the customer. This is necessary to assure the proper replacement part(s) are selected due to advanced modifications to the machine over the years. After evaluation the correct part(s) will be identified and the part(s) and drill can be returned via the local service center for assembly by the customer. A price quote is also available for assembly by CRL Manufacturing.
