This COXREELS 8550-SEALKIT O-Ring Kit is a replacement seal kit designed for maintaining the swivel mechanism of COXREELS hose reels. It includes Viton O-rings for 1/4" NPT dual swivels. Viton, a type of FKM (fluorocarbon rubber), provides excellent resistance to heat, chemicals, and weather, ensuring a durable and reliable seal in demanding industrial and commercial applications. The kit is specifically compatible with COXREELS models utilizing a 1/4" NPT connection for their dual swivel components, such as the 498 and 8550 series swivels. Some kits also include lubricant for proper installation and extended performance.
