AcrylPro Ceramic Tile Adhesive, model ARL40001-2 by CUSTOM Building Products, is a ready-to-use, professional-grade adhesive formulated for installing ceramic, mosaic, porcelain, and natural stone tiles on interior floors and walls. It consists of a proprietary blend of acrylic copolymers, calcium carbonate, and inorganic materials, including crystalline silica quartz and ethylene glycol. This white adhesive offers high bond strength, extended water resistance suitable for areas of intermittent water exposure like tub surrounds and shower walls, quick grab, and non-slip properties. It is recommended for tile up to 8 inches (20 cm) on floors and up to 12 inches (30 cm) on walls, and can be used for tiles up to 15 inches (38 cm) with extended drying times. The adhesive features a 75-minute open time, a 45-minute adjustment time, and a shear strength of 110 psi. It covers approximately 40 to 60 sq. ft. per gallon when applied with a 3/16 inch x 5/32 inch V-notch trowel and exceeds ANSI A136.1 Type I specifications for organic adhesives. Not suitable for steam rooms, shower floors, underwater applications, or radiant heat systems.
