Product Overview
The Damtite 07031 Waterproofing Hydraulic Cement is a non-shrink, high-strength, cement-based powder formulated from Portland cement and crystalline silica. This hydraulic cement mixes with water to a putty consistency and sets in 3 to 5 minutes, effectively stopping active water leaks and seepage under pressure. It is suitable for applications on concrete, cinder block, masonry, stone, brick, and stucco, and can be applied underwater for repairs in swimming pools, water storage tanks, and drains. The compound expands as it sets, providing a permanent patch for holes, cracks, and wall-floor joints, and can also be used for anchoring railings, hooks, bolts, and machinery. It does not contain metallic aggregates or corrosive agents, nor will it shrink or oxidize. For proper application, wear eye protection, a dust mask, and rubber gloves. A 2.5 lb container covers approximately 17 cubic inches, or a 3/4 inch wide by 3/4 inch deep crack 2.5 feet long. Functional cure time is 48 hours.
