Product Overview
Damtite 07121 Hydraulic Cement is a fast-setting, non-shrink, high-strength waterproof mortar designed for repairing leaks and anchoring in concrete and masonry. Composed of Portland cement and crystalline silica, this powder mixes with water to a putty consistency and sets in 3 to 5 minutes, effectively stopping active water leaks and seepage under pressure. It expands as it sets, forming a permanent patch without shrinking or oxidizing, and contains no metallic aggregates or corrosive agents. This cement is suitable for use on concrete, cinder block, masonry, stone, brick, and stucco, and can be applied underwater for repairs in swimming pools, water storage tanks, and drains. It is also used to seal wall-floor joints, mortar cracks, holes, chimneys, and around pipes, as well as for anchoring railings, hooks, bolts, and other metal items to concrete. Full functional cure is achieved in 48 hours. A 10-pound pail provides coverage for a crack 3/4 inch wide by 3/4 inch deep by 10 feet in length, or approximately 68 cubic inches.
