Masthead wind vane for Optimist, Sabot, El Toro, small dinghies. Young dinghy sailors take their experience to the next level with this lightweight fiberglass and duraluminum wind vane that is strong and not easily broken. It is class-legal for Optimist competition and a great choice for Sabots, El Toros and other small dinghies. Handcrafted, calibrated and tested, this wind vane is precision-balanced to be incredibly sensitive in breezes from 0.8 to 40 knots. High-tech black with yellow highlights make this wind vane easy to see in sunny and overcast skies. Packaged with an American flag sticker that can be used to identify a US sailor at international competitions. Optimist sailors mount this wind vane with the available Pin Set (sold separately), see Model 19065770, which is designed for Optimist masts. Vane can also be mounted with the Davis J-Base (sold separately), see Model 277991.
