CRL DETEX® Battery Powered Surface Mount Exit Alarm is used for loss prevention in every business on back and side doors to prevent employee and customer theft. It can be easily installed for surface mounted on door or wall. It offers approximately 100db sound when an unauthorized exit occurs. It has tapered cover for installation on narrow stile doors and 9vdc battery operated with low battery alert. CRL DETEX® Battery Powered Surface Mount Exit Alarm has new, slim design which offers great looks along with security. It is specially engineered for applications requiring a battery-powered alarm on secured doors. It fulfils all legal requirement and is UL listed, classified miscellaneous fire door accessory Features: Patented cam assembly automatically adjusts for different sizes of cylinders without use of spacers. Intelligent circuit senses the external magnet location automatically and sets the correct door handing. Extended bypass (now a standard feature) allows alarm to remain bypassed when door is open and automatically rearm upon door closing DS 06/28/2016

The CRL DETEX® EAX500 Battery Powered Surface Mount Exit Alarm is designed for applications requiring an alarmed exit device on secured doors. The alarm, with approximately 100db, will sound when an unauthorized exit occurs.
The redesigned shape and smaller size of the EAX500 make it the ideal choice for quick and easy installations on emergency exit and restricted doors. Alarm can only be silenced by proper control key. The standard extended bypass feature allows alarm to remain bypassed when door is open, and to automatically re-arm upon door closing. The EAX500 intelligent circuit senses the external magnet location automatically and sets the correct door handing. The patented plastic template allows for foolproof alignment of internal magnetic door contact and accurate installation.
