Product Overview
The DEWALT DFD270SK is a fully-automatic 0.27 caliber powder actuated tool designed for structural fastening in commercial steel and concrete applications. It drives 8mm and 0.300-inch head fasteners, clips in lengths from 1/2 to 2-7/8 inches, and 1/4-inch threaded studs. Powered by a standard 0.27 caliber short safety strip load, the tool features an adjustable power dial for varying load colors and automatic piston return with load indexing for high-capacity use. The tool body incorporates machined steel with plastic and glass fiber housing, measures approximately 18 inches in length and 7.5 inches in height, and weighs about 7.1 lbs. Tool-free disassembly allows for easy maintenance. The kit includes the tool, a single shot nose piece, cleaning kit, spall guard, and a kit box.
