The Design House 728675 Terrace privacy door knob provides locking functionality for interior residential applications, such as bedrooms and bathrooms. It features a push-button locking mechanism on the inside knob and an emergency release on the exterior, with no keyed device. Designed for reversible handing, it accommodates door thicknesses ranging from 1-3/8 inches to 1-3/4 inches. The knob is compatible with a 2-1/8 inch cross bore and a 1-1/16 inch edge bore, utilizing a 1 inch x 2-1/4 inch radius corner faceplate. Its 6-way universal latch adjusts to fit 2-3/8 inch and 2-3/4 inch backsets. Finished in satin nickel, this knob is ANSI Grade 3 certified for residential use. It comes with a limited lifetime mechanical warranty and a 5-year finish warranty.
