Product Overview
The DIZE RB1015 is a 10-inch heavy-duty rubber tarp strap designed for securing tarps and light-duty cargo. It features a strap molded from 100% EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) rubber, which provides resistance to UV degradation, heat, oil, ozone, salt water, and common household chemicals, maintaining elasticity from -20°F to 130°F. The strap meets ASTM standards, including D-412 for tensile strength (1500 PSI, 350% elongation), D-2240 for durometer (55-5%), D-11710 for ozone resistance (no cracking), and D-2137 for low temperature performance. Each end is fitted with a 1-1/2 inch S-hook made from silicon-kilned hard tempered galvanized steel, featuring a 0.172-inch wire diameter and dry wax coating for rust protection. The hooks' steel offers a minimum tensile strength of 65,000 PSI. This strap provides a maximum stretch of 18 inches and is made in the USA.
