Product Overview
Quickly add structure and stability to shrink wrap over long spans. Some boats need additional structure to prevent shrink wrap material from sagging. 2 x 4s offer great support that is easy to cut to length, but they create sharp edges that can tear through the shrink wrap material or damage the deck. Dr. Shrink support pole caps are a solution that not only prevents lumber from poking through, but makes installation easier. These plastic end caps have an approximately 7" diameter and are designed specifically for the top or bottom of a 2 x 4 board. The bottom cap features five non-skid coins to grip, but not damage decking material. The top cap is smooth to allow shrink wrap to contract as heat is applied. Channels are cut into the caps to allow post to be secured with strapping cord that can be stapled through the end cap and into the 2 x 4.
