The Non-Ricochet Drop-In Deal Tray is designed for secure transaction handling at service counters in commercial and institutional environments. This drop-in deal tray allows cash, documents, and small items to be passed between staff and customers while maintaining separation at transaction windows or counters. This bullet resistant deal tray meets Level 1 requirements and features a non-ricochet internal design. The curved inner profile is shaped to help retain a projectile inside the tray or guide it upward toward protective glass, depending on the angle of entry. This design helps limit uncontrolled deflection during impact and supports safer transaction counter layouts. The tray is manufactured from stainless steel and finished in brushed stainless steel, making it suitable for secure counter installations. Overall dimensions measure 12" width x 11" depth x 1-3/4" height, allowing the tray to fit standard countertop cut-outs. This is a drop-in tray and requires counter fabrication before installation. Cut-out information is available to support proper preparation. No drain holes are included, making the tray suitable for controlled interior environments. An easy-out radius on the customer side allows smoother item transfer during daily transactions. Installation instructions are included. This deal tray is commonly used in banks, ticket counters, secure offices, and transaction windows where controlled pass-through is required.
Installation Steps (Silicone Sealant Method)-
1) Cut the counter opening to the required size per drawing.
2) Apply securing tape to the tray lip and counter edge for protection.
3) Apply a bead of clear silicone to the underside of the tray lip.
4) Place the tray into the opening, allow silicone to cure, then trim excess.
