The Extra Deep Drop-In Deal Tray With Lid is designed for controlled transaction handling at service counters in commercial and institutional environments. This deal tray is used at transaction windows, reception desks, and service counters where cash, documents, identification, and small items must be passed between staff and customers while maintaining separation. This drop-in deal tray is made from stainless steel and finished in brushed stainless steel to match common countertop and window hardware. The rectangular shape and extra deep interior allow items to rest securely inside the tray during transfer. The added depth supports envelopes, stacked paperwork, and small boxed items that may not fit into shallow transaction trays. The tray measures 14" width x 14" depth x 3" height, providing increased capacity for item movement. A flush drop-in design allows the tray to sit level with the counter surface after fabrication. Counter fabrication is required prior to installation, and instructions are included to support proper placement. The integrated lid allows the tray opening to be covered when not in use, supporting controlled access at transaction points. An anti-skid base helps reduce tray movement during everyday use. This model does not include drain holes, making it suitable for controlled environments where containment is preferred. The tray can be used in indoor or outdoor settings depending on site requirements. Typical installation involves preparing the countertop cut-out, placing the tray into the opening, and securing it per installation guidelines.
Installation Steps (Silicone Sealant Method)-
1) Cut the counter opening to the required size per drawing.
2) Apply securing tape to the tray lip and counter edge for protection.
3) Apply a bead of clear silicone to the underside of the tray lip.
4) Place the tray into the opening, allow silicone to cure, then trim excess.
