Durvet WormEze Feline Liquid (model 001-0544) is a liquid anthelmintic for the removal of large roundworms (ascarids), including Toxocara canis, Toxocara cati, and Toxascaris leonina, in cats and kittens 6 weeks of age or older. This 4 fluid ounce formulation contains Piperazine Citrate (275 mg per 5 mL) as its active ingredient. It can be administered directly into the pet's mouth or mixed with food or drinking water. The recommended dosage is one teaspoon (5 mL) per 5 lbs of body weight, with a repeat treatment after 10 days. The product targets intestinal roundworm stages and is not effective against migrating larval stages, tapeworms, or hookworms. Consult a veterinarian before use in debilitated animals or those with kidney pathology, and adhere to recommended dosages to avoid potential side effects.
