E-Z Weld Inc. CL-1 PVC Cleaner is a clear, fast-acting solvent blend formulated to prepare plastic pipe and fitting surfaces for solvent cementing. This 1-quart (32 oz) capacity cleaner effectively removes oil, grease, and dirt from PVC, CPVC, ABS, and styrene pipes and fittings of all schedules and diameters, ensuring a strong, leak-proof bond. The water-thin formula meets ASTM D2564 standards for solvent cements used with PVC piping systems and is suitable for operating temperatures from -10°F to 110°F. It is applied using the included dauber, and excess is wiped off with a dry cloth. The product maintains a three-year shelf life in an unopened containe
