Product Overview
The E-Plex 1500 Deadbolt with Key Override is an electronic pushbutton deadbolt designed for access control on wood or metal doors. This lockset features a solid brass cast exterior housing with metal pushbuttons and is suitable for doors with a thickness ranging from 1-3/8" to 2". It is built to ANSI/BHMA Grade 2 standards and meets UL 10C requirements for fire-rated doors up to three hours. The lock operates on three AA alkaline batteries and requires no wiring to or through the door. It supports 100 access codes and records the most recent 1,000 lock events in memory, including mechanical key override usage. Programming is performed via the keypad or optional software. The deadbolt includes an adjustable backset of 2-3/8" or 2-3/4" and requires a minimum stile width of 4". It is designed for operation in temperatures ranging from -31 F to 151 F. The unit includes a 1539 6-pin conventional cylinder for key override. The finish is bright polished brass.
