Engineered Marine Products ROD BOLT (2) EMP 10-10902 is a high-quality rod bolt for 1983-2010 Mercury/Mariner, SportJet and Racing 3-cyl, 60 Hp, 4-cyl 60 Hp, V6, 200-300 Hp outboard engines. This rod bolt is used in high-performance racing rod applications, and it is made with the best steel possible, including tool steel with a sulphur content of less than 0.005%. All threads are roll formed in our thread-forming press after the final heat treatment on both materials, which all go through a dedicated heat treatment process. The thread now has the maximum strength needed for the application on racing rods.
