Product Overview
The Erie VT2315 PopTop Series Zone Valve Body is a 2-way, forged brass valve designed for controlling fluid flow in hydronic heating and cooling systems. It features 3/4 inch sweat connections and is suitable for applications involving chilled water, hot water, and low-pressure steam, accommodating up to 50% glycol mixtures. The valve body has a flow coefficient (Cv) of 5.0 and is rated for a maximum static pressure of 300 PSI and a close-off pressure of 40 PSI, operating with fluid temperatures from 32 to 200 degrees Fahrenheit. Its PopTop design allows for the actuator to be easily installed or removed without disassembling the piping system, eliminating the need for linkages or calibration. This valve body meets or exceeds ANSI Class IV standards for close-off, and its compatible actuators are UL listed.
