Everbilt self-piercing hex head screws are ideal for duct work in heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. Self-piercing sheet metal screws are designed for joining thin pieces of metal to wood, fiberglass or metal, primarily through a pre-drilled or own generated hole in light gauge metal. While penetrating metal, these screws tap their own mating threads. Their zinc plating provides durability and moderate corrosion resistance. Use for general repair or around the house.
