The Dryer Vent Kit with Guard is ideal for venting clothes dryers or 4 in. bathroom fans. This kit includes a 4 in. louvered exhaust hood with removable guard, a 4 in. x 8 ft. dryer transition duct and 2 plastic adjustable clamps. The cap included in this kit has a louvered damper system that helps prevent cold air, rain or snow from entering the home and a removable, low profile pest guard that helps to keep pests out.
- Cap included with this kit has a UV resistant coating to help prevent it from discoloring in the sun and it™s also paintable to match the exterior of your home
- Louvered cap features a recessed caulk line to assist in a clean caulking application
- Flexible aluminum foil dryer transition duct in this kit is UL 2158A listed and marked for safe dryer venting
- Snap on pipe to cap assembly eliminates the need for lint trapping staples
- Additional features include a molded caulk edge to assist in maintaining a clean caulking application and a snap on aluminum pipe to cap assembly, that eliminates the need for lint trapping staples
