The EZ-POUR 40051 HI-FLO Jug Spout Kit is a replacement accessory designed for efficient fluid transfer from most old-style plastic jugs and cans. Constructed from high-density polyethylene (HDPE), this kit facilitates high-flow pouring. It includes a spout with a 7/8 inch opening, a cap, an 8 inch spout extension for accessing hard-to-reach tanks, and a 1/2 inch push-in replacement vent. The kit also provides yellow and black base caps for broader compatibility: the yellow cap features a coarse thread, typically fitting Midwest and Scepter containers, while the black cap has a fine thread, suitable for older Briggs and Stratton, Rubbermaid, Essence, Blitz, and Gott cans. Some versions of the kit also include a filter screen to prevent contaminants.
