Product Overview

SFIC 6-Pin Core, 7-Pin A Keyway, 0 Bit if not Specified, 2 Blank Keys, Flat Black Coated Finish, Non-Handed

Interchangeable cores offer maximum convenience for a building owner. Whenever a key is lost or stolen, locks can be rekeyed quickly by non-locksmith personnel. All it takes is the €œcontrol€ key used to release and remove or install cores in the system. Just go to the door, remove the old core and replace. Security is regained in seconds. Interchangeable cores and locksets are compatible with other competitor small format interchangeable core (SFIC) products, such as Best and Arrow €“ use Falcon locks with their cores and vice versa. In most cases, Falcon can even furnish cores master keyed into existing Best or Arrow key systems. Just include a copy of the existing bitting list with a Falcon order.

Conventional cylinders are the most common used cylinders.

Because conventional cylinders are manufacturer-specific to the lock and lock type, they cannot be exchanged for another in most cases. However, conventional cylinders can be keyed alike or master keyed so that you can use just one key for multiple locks if needed.
