The Coral series from Faria adds a stylish touch to your boat's gauge panel. Each Coral gauge has a sleek black dial with perimeter lighting and stylish white and blue graphics. A black aluminum bezel with a burnished leading edge, a contoured white pointer, and a flat glass lens. A 2.0625" (53 mm) mounting hole for the size2 gauge. A temperature gauge operates by sending a low amperage current from the gauge's meter to ground via a variable resistance sending unit. With changes in pressure, temperature, and so on, the resistance of the sending units increases or decreases. The amount of current allowed to flow through the sender to ground changes as its resistance changes, and the meter deflects, indicating the temperature.
