The H20 GAUGE (F22017) is a scratch-resistant bezel, domed fog-resistant lens, and black dial with white and perimeter-lighted silver markings. This temperature gauge is part of the Faria Beede Platinum Series Instruments features spun aluminum gauge dials. It works by delivering a low amperage current via the gauges meter to the ground via a variable resistance transmitting unit. With variations in pressure and temperature, the resistance of the sending units fluctuates. The amount of current permitted to flow through the transmitter to the ground changes as the resistance of the receiver changes, and the meter deflects, indicating the temperature.
