Product Overview
This gauge is intended for use with any 2-cycle or 4-cycle gas engine. The Yamaha Viking VI Side-by-Side comes standard with this model. The hour meter measures the amount of time a spark plug gets voltage. This occurs every time the spark plug fires in a 2-cycle engine, both on the power and exhaust strokes. This happens just once every other rotation in 4-cycle motors (on just the power stroke).
