Product Overview
This Tachometer with Hourmeter is an excellent addition to any car with a manual transmission. They enable you to make better downshifts, keeping your engine in the powerband and maximizing performance while saving gasoline. Electronic tachometers function by counting the pulses produced by the ignition system, alternator, tach signal generator, or magnetic pickup sender. The tach is connected to +12vDC, Ground, and one of the signals mentioned above sources. You may tell the tachometer how many pulses are transmitted each engine rotation by selecting the appropriate tach and changing the rear switch.
