SPEEDOMETER (F33811) is an instrument made to provide a readout about boat speed. The vessel is fitted with a pitot tube, also known as a pitometer, or a GPS gauge. Which one measures your speed and provides a display for your use. SPEEDOMETER compares the speed of your boat to the pace of the water on which it is traveling. It works by comparing the rapids of water entering a tube to air pressure to calculate an estimated speed. SPEEDOMETER (F33811) installing the hole should be located well above the waterline and angled downward at a 45-degree angle. Connect the pitot to the pressure tube by inserting it into the hole.
