The Fernco 1056-32RC flexible pipe coupling connects pipes of different nominal sizes and materials, transitioning from 3-inch to 2-inch. Constructed from elastomeric polyvinyl chloride (PVC), it features a 0.012-inch stainless steel shield and 300 series stainless steel clamps, providing rigidity and resistance to shear forces. This coupling is designed for heavy earth loads and accommodates a range of pipe materials including plastic (PVC, CPVC, ABS), cast iron, copper, steel, and lead. It offers a leak-proof and root-proof seal, resistant to chemicals, UV rays, fungus growth, and sewer gases. Suitable for drain, waste, and vent (DWV) applications, it operates within a temperature range of -30°F to 140°F and can withstand a tested pressure of 4.3 PSI. The mechanical connection requires 60 in-lb installation torque and complies with ASTM D 5926, C 1173, and CSA B602 standards, and is UPC Approve
