Product Overview
The Fernco P1056-66RC flexible pipe coupling is designed for connecting 6-inch nominal pipes made from cast iron, plastic (PVC, ABS, CPVC, HDPE), copper, steel, or lead in drain, waste, and vent (DWV) systems. Constructed from elastomeric polyvinyl chloride (PVC), it features a 0.012-inch thick stainless steel shield and 300 series stainless steel clamps for enhanced rigidity, resistance to heavy earth loads, and shear forces. This coupling provides a leak-proof and root-proof seal, resisting chemicals, UV rays, fungus growth, and sewer gases. It is suitable for non-pressure, gravity flow applications with an operating temperature range of -30°F to 140°F and a tested pressure of 4.3 psi. Installation typically requires a 60 in-lb torque. The coupling conforms to ASTM D5926, C1173, C1460, C564, CSA B602, and is UPC approve
