This Sliding Screen Door Handle & Latch by Prime-Line Products is constructed of a black plastic housing, and each come with a steel latch for secure engagement. This style of sliding screen door handle and latch is of a non-handed design, allowing it to be used on both left-hand and right-hand sliding screen doors. These handle and latches are used on 1/2 in. thick patio sliding screen doors manufactured by Columbia, Series 4000, in addition to 1/2 in. thick doors by a variety of other sliding screen door manufacturers. Each contains an inside pull, an outside pull, a keeper, top guides and fasteners. The steel latch measures 2-7/8 in. long, and slides up and down to engage the keeper (Prime-Line part numbers A 125 or A 217).
