Fiebing's Hoof Dressing, model 088-30305, is a liquid formulation designed to condition and restore the health of equine hooves. It works by penetrating the hoof wall to improve texture and elasticity while maintaining a healthy moisture balance, which can help prevent brittleness and moisture loss. The dressing assists in treating conditions such as split hooves, corns, and quarter cracks. Composed primarily of mineral oil, soybean oil, and gilsonite, with a small percentage of cresylic acid as a preservative, it leaves hooves with a semi-gloss finish. For application, the hoof should be thoroughly washed, and the dressing applied with a brush, working it well into the edge of the hair (coronet) and the frog. Regular use, two to three times per week, is recommended for optimal results. This product is supplied in a 1-gallon container.
