Product Overview
The Markar FM100 Series Full Mortise Pin and Barrel Continuous Hinge, by Pemko (an ASSA ABLOY Group company), is an 8 ft edge-mounted hinge constructed from 6063-T6 aluminum alloy. Designed for commercial door applications, its full mortise design conceals fasteners and distributes door weight along the entire length, supporting up to 600 lbs for doors with a maximum width of 4 ft. It accommodates door thicknesses from 1-3/4" to 2-1/4", allows a 180-degree swing, and is non-handed. The hinge features a .187" diameter stainless steel pin with medical and nylon bearings and includes custom 12-24 x 11/16" stainless steel Phillips Flat Head Undercut TEK screws. It is certified to ANSI/BHMA A156.26 Grade 2, ANSI/SDI 250.13, ASTM E330, ASTM E1886, ASTM E1996, UL 10C, and Florida Building Code approved.
