Product Overview
The Fresh-Aire UV TUV-ICE-DT is a dual lamp UVC germicidal system designed to continuously sterilize microbial contaminants, including mold, viruses, and bacteria, within ice machines. This system employs 254 nm UV-C light to prevent biofilm buildup on internal surfaces and in the water, reducing the need for frequent manual cleaning and extending the operational lifespan of the ice maker. Each of the two germicidal lamps measures 8 inches in length and 0.74 inches in diameter, featuring a shatter-resistant Teflon® safety coating and an effective life of two years. The unit operates with a multi-voltage power supply of 120-277 VAC at 50/60 Hz and includes mounting brackets, a 12-inch power cord, 6-foot lamp cables, and UV blocking tape for installation. All components, excluding the lamps, are covered by a lifetime warranty. The product is Made in the USA
