The Tectite by Apollo 1/2 in. Brass Quarter Turn Push-To-Connect x 3/4 in. Garden Hose Thread No-Kink Quarter-Turn Hose Bibb is an easy way to install a new or replacement hose bibb. The valve is designed for potable water and hydronic applications where a shut-off is needed. Tectite by Apollo push-to-connect stop valves are the cleanest and simplest way to gain flow control on copper, CPVC, PE-RT and PEX pipe without the use of tools, solder, open flame or glue. Simply insert the pipe to allow the high-strength stainless steel teeth to grip the pipe securely against the specially designed O-ring. Valve removal and reuse is just as simple using a simple demount clip (sold separately). After assembly, fittings may be rotated for simpler installation in tight spaces. All Tectite by Apollo stop valves are approved for use in both potable water and hydronic heating piping systems.
