The Tectite by Apollo 1/2 in. Push-To-Connect x 1/4 in. Push-To-Connect Quarter-Turn Angle Stop Valve is designed to control water flow to plumbing fixtures such as toilets and faucets. The Angle Stop Valve is used where the water pipe enters the room to allow for easy shut-off of water flow to the end fixture allowing for maintenance and repair without having to turn water off to the entire home. The 1/4 in. Push-To-Connect outlet allows you to use a 1/4 in. piece of ApolloPEX Pipe and a Tectite by Apollo 1/4 in. fixture fitting to create a custom length supply line to the end fixture. Simply cut the PEX to length, push end into stop valve and push fitting on to other end and screw into fixture. Tectite by Apollo push-to-connect stop valves are the cleanest and simplest way to gain flow control on copper, CPVC, PE-RT and PEX pipe without the use of tools, solder, open flame or glue. Simply insert the pipe to allow the high-strength stainless steel teeth to grip the pipe securely against the specially designed O-ring. Stop valve removal and reuse is just as simple using a simple demount clip (sold separately). After assembly, fittings may be rotated for simpler installation in tight spaces. All Tectite by Apollo stop valves are approved for use in both potable water and hydronic heating piping systems.
