Product Overview
The GacoDeck DT01 Top Coat is a water-borne, single-component acrylic elastomeric coating designed to create a fully adhered, durable waterproof membrane for exterior walking surfaces. Manufactured by Gaco, an industry leader in waterproofing solutions, this 1-gallon container in Oyster color provides lasting surface protection for balconies, patios, roof decks over occupied living spaces, ramps, and elevated walkways. It adheres to various substrates including plywood, concrete, metal, fiberglass, and previously coated surfaces. The low VOC coating system is formulated to expand and contract with the substrate, resisting peeling, chipping, cracking, and fading. It offers excellent gloss retention, color stability, and chalk resistance. When applied as part of the GacoDeck system, it forms a skid-resistant surface that meets Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant standards for accessible routes and is easy to clean with soap and water. The recommended application rate for a complete system is 0.75 gallons per 100 square feet to achieve a 28 dry mil thickness over four coats.
