The Gaco S4222 GacoFlex S42 Series is a high-adhesion, solvent-free, single-component, 100% silicone roof coating supplied in a 5-gallon pail of gray material. This elastomeric and moisture-curing coating renews weathered roofs by forming a durable, seamless membrane that protects against permanent ponding water, ultraviolet light, and severe weather. It exhibits strong adhesion over various substrates including metal roofs, weathered single-ply membranes, polyurethane foam roofs, and certain aged asphaltic roofs (with a base coat), often eliminating the need for an epoxy primer. The coating provides excellent coverage and peak hide on granulated surfaces. It is certified to UL790-Class A, CRRC, FM Approved, Miami-Dade County NOA, and NSF P151 for rainwater catchment systems. It has a VOC content of less than 50 g/l and 96% solids by weight.
