The GearWrench 3529 heavy-duty oil filter strap wrench is engineered for the removal and installation of oversized spin-on filters and cylindrical components up to 9 inches (228.6 mm) in diameter. It features a forged steel handle and a high-strength, oil-resistant nylon strap designed to provide a secure, non-marring grip and withstand high torque requirements. The wrench is compatible with 3/8 inch and 1/2 inch square drive tools for added leverage. This tool is suitable for servicing oil and hydraulic filters on medium and heavy-duty trucks, diesel pickups, agricultural tractors, and industrial engines, including in confined engine compartments. The strap distributes pressure evenly, preventing damage to filter housings. The nylon strap measures approximately 28 inches in length.
