Product Overview
The Gexpro GW-500-1 is an #8 AWG green insulated copper ground wire. It features a stranded, annealed copper conductor, encased in green PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) insulation, often with a nylon jacket for enhanced durability. This insulation provides resistance to heat, moisture, gasoline, and oil, commonly carrying THHN/THWN-2 ratings. The wire is typically rated for 600V and suitable for use in wet or dry locations at temperatures up to 90°C (dry) and 75°C (wet). Designed for grounding electrical systems as specified by the National Electrical Code (NEC), it is used in conduit and cable trays for services, feeders, and branch circuits in commercial, industrial, and residential applications to ensure electrical safety. This product typically meets UL standards and may be RoHS complian
