This CRL GM24 Grinding Mill is the preferred method of performing certain glass grinding operations using a grinding plate with wet abrasive grain. The GM24 is furnished with a carefully machined, high grade cast iron grinding plate, which is especially selected for its grain retention property. A 3/4 HP, 1750 RPM, single phase motor, wired to a convenient starting switch powers the 24" (610 mm) plate through a V-belt drive. The spindle revolves in two heavy duty pillow block units, which assure long life and vibration free performance. Grain flows to the plate from the trough on the top cover, which has a petcock valve to control water feed. Machine comes furnished with 10 pounds (4.5 kg) of 120 grit abrasive grain.
