These perforated strainers feature a door to easily access the thru hull. Groco's Bronze Perforated Hull Strainers feature patented Access Doors that allow easy access to the thru-hull for maintenance. Provides primary filtration for raw water inlets. Bronze strainers have an outer surface that is rough in feel and appearance, almost like it s covered with sand. That s because bronze strainers are sand cast, and then machined. Bronze is known for excellent resistance to harmful corrosion.
