Product Overview
Save space and installation time with a combination seacock and raw water strainer. Groco's Bronze Seacock and Strainer Combination features a full-flow ball valve and a raw water strainer in one component. Cast bronze chassis with a stainless steel full-flow ball and stem, a #304 stainless steel filter basket and a clear polymer sight glass. The 1 1/4" size includes one grease zerk fitting for lubrication (use only with the valve in the open position) and one drain plug. The zerk can also be used for draining. The handle has a square hole to accept a standard ratchet (helps reach valves in hard-to-reach locations and to make difficult-to-operate valves easier to actuate). Strainer has a screw on/off cap for easy access to the filter basket. Strainer top may be rotated in 90 degree increments to simplify plumbing. The top outlet fittings are NPT (tapered thread) and bottom inlet fittings are NPS (straight thread).
