These bronze nipples allow you to join two pieces of pipe together while preventing backflow to the source. PN series cast bronze nipples feature PNC check valves. A check valve is placed inside to prevent backflow in plumbing systems. The check valve creates almost zero flow restriction and requires less than 1/2psi to open. Colored bands indicate flow direction (green to red), confirmed by the permanent laminated tag. Cast bronze construction provides excellent resistance to harmful corrosion. These machined bronze nipples feature male NPT (tapered) threads on each end. NOTE: Not for use in diesel fuel or gasoline applications.
