Product Overview

Grade 1 Double Acting Spring Hinge, Steel Base, Adjustable, 5" Hinge, 1-1/8" to 1-1/2" Door Thickness, 6'8" Door Height, Primed for Painting

Spring hinges are used for automatic closing of a door. They meet codes for hotels, motels, institutions and commercial buildings. For maximum versatility use all spring hinge with combination with ball bearing hinges.

There are three dimensions to know in order to determine the minimum width of the hinge: door thickness, backset, and clearance required.

Today, the Hager name is synonymous with architectural hinges. In fact, they are the industry’s premiere designer and manufacturer of architectural hinges, with a product line that offers one of the widest varieties of sizes, shapes, and finishes--all of which meet or exceed ANSI standards.
