Halo Surface Mount LED Downlights (SMD) are ultra-low profile canless recessed lights with a modern look and high performance. SMD6-DM (6 in. LED recessed lights with spring clips) is designed for new installation into drywall, without any additional housing or junction box needed. Ultra-slim design goes where LED can lights can™t. Halo Recessed lighting is suitable for residential or commercial installations. LED recessed lighting is ideal for general areas, closets, storage areas, attics and basements.
- Canless recessed lighting does not work with recessed cans or existing junction boxes (there is a junction box pre-installed on the light fixture)
- 3000K soft white color temperature provides great light for any occasion
- Designed for installation in many 7.38 in. round openings without junction boxes or recessed cans
- Recessed LED lights are built to last with maintenance-free energy efficient LED™s, eliminating your need to use and replace bulbs
- LEDs have 50,000 hours of life (equivalent to 22-years of life at 6 hours per day or 45-years at 3 hours per day)
