Hand Beveling, Shaping and Grinding Wheels
Beveled glass is normally made by taking thick glass and creating an angled surface cut around its periphery. The finishing or shaping of the edges of a glass surface is usually done by grinding with an abrasive wheel. Pencil Polished edge in a Satin finish or clear finish is the most common type of edgework on mirrors. Fantasy Wheel from CRL is perfect for creating a pencil edge and grinding patterns in glass. A great tool for custom work, you can use your own vertical wheel grinder and coolant supply, to make round grooves in all types of glass with this wheel. It has diamond grit particles that cut into the glass and act as a stage in the grinding process.
Excellent for specialty grinding, the CRL Standard® Diamond Discs are designed for grinding, faceting, and finishing small glass objects. It features a high-quality diamond that is plated on a steel disc, fixed to the aluminum back. We also carry other useful tools like Phenolic Fantasy "V" Wheel, Two-Piece Seaming Wheel, Polishing Wheel, and more. Please quote your specific requirements if you need these products in bulk.
